It has not been a good weekend for our cars… Chris’ jeep got a window slashed, and the soft top sliced, all for about $2 in coins. They didn’t try to take the stereo, or anything else in the car. They effectively did a bit more than $600 in damage to the jeep all for two bucks in change, all they left in the ashtray were the pennies. Thankfully Chris has comprehensive car insurance so he’s only responsible for the deductible. He estimates that there have been about 10 auto break ins in our building in the (almost) 5 years we’ve lived here. knock on wood.. My car has never been hit, but both of Chris’ cars have. One more reason to get out of A-Town. Meanwhile, my Malibu’s been acting funny and had to be dropped off at the shop, essentially rendering me prisoner, since I cant drive the Jeep, which has a manual transmission. Well, at least it started on the weekend. Lillith was dropped off at the vet this morning for her declaw, and we got a call around 3 to let us know that shes doing just fine, Dusty seems to enjoy not being pounced on for the day.
